COUNSELING SERVICES

Marriage Counseling & Couples Therapy in Sioux Falls

Every family carries both love and brokenness. That is not failure; it is being human. And it is exactly where growth can begin.

God designed families to be the place where we are loved, formed, and sent out into the world. When marriage feels like a stalemate, parenting feels like survival, or a blended family cannot find its footing, counseling gives you a place to work on it together, with someone trained for exactly these dynamics.

Is Any of This Familiar?

Marriage & Relationship Challenges

It is the same argument wearing different clothes, and you both know the script before it starts.

Trust & Repair

Something broke the trust between you, and you are both circling the question of whether it can be rebuilt.

Parenting Support

You and your spouse are running different playbooks, and your children know it.

Distance & Disconnection

You are not fighting much anymore. You are just further apart, two people managing logistics.

Blended Family Dynamics

Loyalties pull in different directions, and what worked in your first family keeps not working in this one.

Family Issues

Holidays need a strategy and certain topics are landmines. The family you love is also the family that exhausts you.

And if you are the only one ready to work on it right now, that is enough to start.

Trained in the Dynamics Most Counselors Aren’t

Blended Family Training IFS Narrative Therapy

Krysta has specialized training in blended family dynamics and years of experience with families navigating hard seasons. Sessions get underneath the recurring argument to the pattern producing it: who each of you is, what shaped you, and what your relationship is meant to become.

The goal is not a truce. It is a relationship that actually reflects what it was made for: connection, honesty, and grace. That takes more than communication tips. It takes understanding the stories each of you brought through the door, with both clinical skill and biblical wisdom at the table.

What Sessions Look Like

Whether you are working through conflict, rebuilding trust, or simply wanting to grow closer, sessions meet you there. Sometimes it is the two of you together. Sometimes it is individual work on what you bring to the relationship, or family sessions when the whole system needs the room. Krysta is not there to referee or declare a winner; she is there to help you both see the pattern and change it.

Sessions are available in person at the Sioux Falls office or online anywhere in South Dakota, which helps when two calendars can barely find the same evening.
