COUNSELING SERVICES

Faith & Purpose Counseling in Sioux Falls

Bring your hardest questions about faith, purpose, and where God is in your suffering. You will not be judged, and you will not get a Bible verse as a band-aid.

Sometimes the deepest ache is not a diagnosis. It is a quiet sense of feeling lost, disconnected from God, or unsure of your purpose. At CFC these are not side conversations to squeeze around the “real” therapy; they are welcome at the center of the work.

Is Any of This Familiar?

Faith & Purpose

You believe, mostly. But faith has started feeling like something you maintain instead of something that holds you.

Disconnection from God

You go through the motions on Sunday and feel like a stranger to the whole thing by Tuesday.

Identity & Calling

The roles that used to define you have shifted, and you are asking what you are actually made for.

Doubt & Spiritual Dryness

Prayer feels like talking to the ceiling, and you cannot remember exactly when that started.

Meaning, Calling & Direction

The career, the family, the faithfulness: you built what you were supposed to build, and still catch yourself asking, is this it?

Faith After Hurt or Loss

Something happened that your faith did not have categories for, and you have not prayed the same since.

Including hurt that happened inside the church. That story is welcome here, told at whatever pace it needs.

Inviting God Into the Real Conversation

Evidence-based Biblically sound Narrative Therapy

Faith runs through everything at CFC. But on this page, faith is not the backdrop; it is the work itself. This is space to wrestle honestly with faith and doubt, identity and calling. When belief has gone quiet, when purpose feels lost, or when the place that was supposed to be safe is where the wound came from, those deserve a counselor's full attention, not a pep talk.

All care here is both evidence-based and Biblically sound. You are uniquely and intentionally designed by God, made with purpose, gifts, and a capacity for meaningful work and deep relationships. Counseling helps you ask where your heart is being led and what you are made to contribute, honestly, without pat answers.

What Sessions Look Like

Your questions set the agenda. Some clients want prayer and Scripture in the room; others need a counselor who simply takes God seriously while they sort out what they believe. Both are honored here, and nothing is pushed on you. Narrative work helps you look at the story you have been told about yourself and the one you are actually living.

Sessions are available in person at the Sioux Falls office or online anywhere in South Dakota.
